How saving works
The game saves after each night (and after a death or loss), not every daytime action. Closing mid-day can roll back that day. Wait for the save confirmation before you close the tab.
Your loft lives in this browser at this address. Use your normal browser (not a private window or an in-app browser). Clearing site data or switching browsers can lose it. Settings → Export copies your last checkpoint.
It's a beta: I'll try hard to keep saves working, but I can't guarantee every future update will.
