Pigeon Pals · Android
The same loft, installed.
Pigeon Pals is coming to Google Play as a closed test: the full browser beta as an app on your phone, with your loft saved inside the app. Same game, same campaign, same birds. Free, no ads, no purchases, no account.
Status: the closed test is open. Google approved the first build (0.9.0) on 30 September 2026. Join below; the app installs from the Play Store once your Google account is on the tester list.
Install the test build
- Sign up below with the Google account that is signed in on your Android phone (one minute). I add it to the tester list, usually the same day.
- Then open play.google.com/apps/testing/com.pigeonpals.game on the phone and tap Become a tester.
- Tap the Play Store link on that page (or open the store page) and install Pigeon Pals. "Item not found" means the account is not on the list yet, or the list has not propagated; wait a bit and retry.
Not on the list yet? The store page shows "item not found" until you are. The sign-up form is the way in.
Sign up as a tester
Google Play closed tests work from a list of Google accounts. Give the address of the Google account that is signed in on your Android phone; any other address can't be let in. You get a short email when you are on the list.
Sign up for the Android test →Your email is used only to add you to the Google Play tester list and to send you the install link. It is never posted, shared or sold. Ask at pigeonpals.support@proton.me to be removed at any time.
What being a tester means
- You need an Android phone (Android 7.0 or newer) and a Google account signed in on it.
- Once you are on the list, open the opt-in link above on your phone, tap Become a tester, then install Pigeon Pals from the Play Store page it leads to.
- Google counts a tester only while they stay opted in, so please keep the app installed for at least two weeks. Opting out early is allowed, it just doesn't count.
- Play how you like. A few in-game days is plenty. Then tell us what broke, what confused you and what you liked: Settings → Feedback in the app, or the feedback form.
- Your loft saves after each night, after a death or loss, and after each casino bet. Closing the app mid-day rolls back to the last checkpoint. Settings → Export backup makes a file you can keep or open in the browser version; there is no sync between the two.
Questions people ask
Can I move my browser save into the app? Yes, by hand: Settings → Export backup in the browser gives you a file; Settings → Import backup in the app reads it. The other direction works the same way.
Will uninstalling delete my loft? Yes. The save lives inside the app. Export a backup first.
What does the app send? Only the same anonymous play counts as the website (which milestone was reached, no identifier, no IP address stored), and you can switch that off in Settings. See privacy and support.
Is there an iPhone version? Not yet. The browser version works on iPhone.
