Descriptions
One sentence
Pigeon Pals is a free pixel-art browser game where you raise a rooftop pigeon flock, breed a dynasty, send them across the city with the mail and race them into the wind — and live with what comes home.
Short (about 60 words)
Pigeon Pals is a pixel-art pigeon-keeping game about a little rooftop loft and the whole city around it. Feed, water and get to know your birds, walk to market once a day, send them out with the mail, race them in dice derbies where each bird rolls its own inherited-and-trained die, and breed the next generation. It looks cozy. It isn't always. Free open beta, plays in your browser.
Long
Pigeon Pals is a pixel-art pigeon-keeping game about a little rooftop loft and the whole city around it. You start with two pigeons, Fawkes and Rocky, and an old keeper named Mara who shows you the ropes. Feed them, water them, sweep up after them, and get to know them before the city gets its hands on them.
The loft. Care for your birds, set out perches and nests, and keep the place clean. Sick birds need remedies. Tired birds need rest.
The market. Once a day you walk down to the street: seed, water, remedies, curios, and an exchange where new birds turn up. The stallholders remember you, and the good stuff rotates.
The mail. Send your pigeons across the city with letters. Every route has its own distance, weather and risk, and the map shows the real odds before you commit. Most birds come home. You'll remember the ones that didn't.
The races. Club races are dice derbies: every bird carries its own die, with faces it inherited and faces it trained. Then the wind gets a say. After 6pm, a stranger on the corner will race your pigeon for in-game money.
The family. Pair birds, hatch an egg, and watch talents run in the blood. Every chick inherits from its parents, so the family you build is the flock you race.
The nights. The day ends at bedtime and the game saves overnight. Some mornings you wake to good news. Some mornings you don't.
It looks cozy. It isn't always. Birds get sick, get lost and die, and that's part of it. The Traditional campaign walks you through your first week; Rough Economy, Olympian, Danger Zone and Hardcore are there when you want the loft to push back.
Pigeon Pals is in open beta right now. It plays in a phone or desktop browser with no download, no account and no real-money purchases, and your loft saves in your browser after each night.
Key features
- Every pigeon has a story. Named birds with their own coats, talents, habits and history — and a memorial when one is lost.
- Dice racing. Each bird carries a six-sided die: three faces inherited from its parents, three earned through training. A five-tier club ladder, the Homecoming Cup, and street races after dark.
- Wind. A gust can turn a sure thing into a photo finish. Player-facing odds are shown before every race and every mail run.
- Mail routes with real risk. Seven destinations across a pixel-art city, each with its own pay, distance, weather and chance of a bird coming home lost, hurt, or not at all.
- Breeding and bloodlines. Pair birds, hatch an egg, and see inherited faces pass down a family tree you can browse generation by generation.
- A living neighbourhood. Mara, Inez, Theo, Anselm and Sal knock on the loft door with lessons, favours and quests across the first week, with stories that continue afterwards.
- Once-a-day market. Seed, water, remedies, timber, curios and decorations, a bird exchange, and an optional casino that only ever takes in-game money.
- Five ways to play. Traditional, Rough Economy, Olympian, Danger Zone and Hardcore.
- Made for phones, works on desktop. One-thumb play, no download, no account, saves in your browser after each night.

Good to know
It's a beta. Things occasionally break, and the developer says so up front. Saves live in the player's browser and are written after each in-game night, not after every action.
Nothing is for sale. No download, no account, no ads, no real-money purchases. The casino and street races use in-game dollars only.
Birds die. Illness, bad weather and long routes can cost you a pigeon for good. The game is rated 18+ by the developer for that and for the simulated gambling.
Streaming and video. You're welcome to record, stream and monetise footage of Pigeon Pals. The music and sound in the game are the game's own.
